York Woods Library Theatre

This theatre was constructed to meet the demands of its neighbouring community for a place where a wide variety of performances, presentations, meetings and ceremonies could take place. This 260 seat theatre is part of a regional library complex which serves a densely populated area containing a number of diverse communities.

The auditorium and stage of the theatre were constructed as additions to the main building while the lobby and front of house spaces were provided by converting a pre-existing circular program room.
